Charles completed 20 years service with the Company in January 2009, having joined the Company in 1989 when the surface division was based in Deptford South East London. As a salesman at this time Charles concentrated on selling the sea and road exports and in 1990 became heavily involved in the companies book-trade business attending major book fairs in both Frankfurt and London.

Apart from his activities in the UK Charles has represented the Company on overseas visits to the Arabian Gulf, South Africa, Mauritius and the USA. Charles has been married to Sandy for 25 years, and lives in Hoddeson. His hobbies include Archery, fishing, bird watching and book collecting.

Charles is also famous for playing air guitar at the annual Christmas party!
